School declared Test Exam Result today

The prestigious Salema Class XII school has declared its Test Exam Result today. The students had gathered in the school premises with eagerness to know the result of the exam of class X and XII. After a short meeting with the teachers of the school, the Headmaster Sri Rubendra Daurai declared the result of Madhyamik and HS aspirants. In the HS Test Exam, Puja Sharma of Class XII Science scored the highest, followed by Rajesh Das of XII Arts who scored second position.

In the Madhyamik Test, Sandip Deb scored the highest and Amit Debnath scored the second position.

The Headmaster and the Teaching Staffs wishes “Best of Luck” to all the Board candidates of the school.  

School NSS Team organizing Special Camp

NSS Volunteers of the prestigious Salema Class XII School is organizing a special 7 days' camp in the school premises. The camp is inaugurated by Sri Jagat Das, Gram Pradhan. The Student Volunteers will organize cleanliness drive in nearby markets, will construct makeshift toilets and will participate in various awareness seminars. The Headmaster of the School, Sri Rubendra Daurai presided over the inaugural programme and the Programme Officer Sri Arjun Biswas supervised the entire programme. Sweets were distributed among the students at the end of the programme.

School organizes Vanmahotsav-2012

The prestigeous Salema Class XII School organised Vanmahotsav 2012 in the school premises on 27 July, 2012. The students took part in cultural programmes, Quiz Contests and at last planted saplings of different types in the school premises. The Headmaster of the school, Sri Rubendra Daurai inaugurated the programme. 

School took part in Block Level Vanmahotsav

The students and teachers of Salema Class XII school took part in Block Level Vanmahotsav, which was held in the Local Community hall on 19 July. Department of Forest, Block Development office and some other Govt. organizations organized rally, Quiz contest, Sit-N-Draw competition etc. The students of Salema Class XII School took part in almost all events. Pratima Chakroborty, a student of class X presented a dance on the theme of Vanmahotsav which applauded the audience. Teachers anchored a Quiz Competition. Prizes were given to the successful candidates. Later on, sweets were distributed among the students and the others who attended the programme.

School showed excellent result in Higher Secondary Exam-2012

The students of Salema Class XII school has scored their best in the Higher Secondary Exam-2012. Totally 2 First Division and  11 second division was achieved by the students of the school. Of them, the topper of the school was Miss Rimita Debbarma who scored 323 from Arts stream.   

Eco Club conducts Cycle Rally in Salema

The Eco Club members of Salema Class XII School conducted a Cycle Rally in Salema. The main reason behind such a rally was to spread awareness among the masses against social evils like Drug Abuse, Dowry System and Deforestation. About 100 students took part in it. A car and Police in a bike was leading the rally. Villagers had gathered en-route to witness this gala event. The Headmaster of the School thanked the students for conducting such a rally. 

School organizes Adolescent Awareness Seminar

Salema Class XII School organizes an Adolescent awareness Seminar on Tuesday, the 17th April in the school premises. It was inaugurated by the Headmaster, Mr. Rubendra Daurai. Dr. Bidhan Ch. Bhowmik, Salema PHC and Sri Samir Rn. Das presented their valuable speeches in the programme. The students of Class IX, X and XII took part in the seminar.

School organised Annual Sports 2012

School has organised Annual Sports on 15 Feb, 2012. On this sunny morning, the school wore a festive look. The students and teachers equally took part in the events. There were four Houses, in which the students and teachers were divided. Ultimately, based on points, Vibekananda House won highest point and became the House Champion. The Headmaster and the Sports Teacher thanked the students and teachers for their cooperation.

School took part in “Fire Safety Evacuation Drill”

As a part of the countrywide awareness of the Fire Safety, an Evacuation drill took place in Salema Class XII School, with the assistance of the Experts of the local Fire Brigade along with the Firemen of the same Fire Service Station. They showed before the students present at the gallery of the school how to manage a fire, and extinguish it. The students eagerly watched their drill and then learnt from the expert, how to prevent fire. A complete unit of the local Fire Service Station took part in it and the entire programme lasted for an hour. The Students and teachers of the school thanked the authority for conducting such an awareness generation programme. 

School Celebrates "Statehood Day"

The School has observed Statehood Day on 21 January, 2012 in the school premises. The Headmaster Mr. Rubendra Daurai along with some teachers explained the importance of observing such a day. They also discussed about the various developments of the state in the last decade. The students then took part in various games like Sit-N-Draw Competition, Tug of War, Volleyball Competition. All the students of Class VI to Class XI took part in it. The successful participants were presented prizes by the Headmaster and the other teachers.

School celebrates Swami Vibekananda's Birthday

Salema Class XII School has organised Swami Vibekananda's Birthday on 12 January in our school premises with flying colours. The students had gathered at the school premise at 8 am. The Headmaster along with other teachers had offered garlands etc. to the image of Swami Vibekananda. Later on a procession marched through the local market with chanting songs of  Swami Vibekananda.

School participated in State Level Science Fair

The students of Salema Class XII School viz. Sandip Deb and Pratima Chakraborty of Class X took part in State Level Science Fair 2012 held at Umakanto Academy English Medium School,  Agartala. The fair ended at 8th January, 2012. The model was highly appreciated by the visitors.
